Air Flow Performance in Flexible Duct vs. Round Sheet Metal Duct
The presentation will outline airflow values derived from research that was co-funded by the Air Distribution Institute (ADI), ASHRAE, TXU (Oncor), and Lennox Industries. The research was conducted at Texas A&M University Energy Systems Laboratory. Guidelines referencing these new values are appearing in ASHRAE Energy Design Guide publications, 2009 ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook, and revised editions of ACCA Manual D.
